These Terms of Service govern your use of HizDrive, a secure cloud storage platform provided by Hizcore. By using our service, you agree to these terms, our Privacy Policy, and acknowledge our commitment to protecting your data with zero-knowledge encryption.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using HizDrive, a service provided by Hizcore, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with these terms, you must not use the Service.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Hizcore regarding your use of the HizDrive platform.

2. License to Use the Service

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use HizDrive for personal or commercial use in accordance with these Terms.

Permitted Use: You may use HizDrive to store, share, and manage your files for legitimate personal or business purposes.

Service users are not allowed to do the following:

  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify the platform
  • Use bots, scrapers, or automated tools to access the service
  • Republish, resell, or commercially exploit the service without authorization
  • Violate applicable laws or disrupt the platform's operation
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data
  • Circumvent any security measures or access controls

3. User Accounts and Content

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account and for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

Content Ownership: You retain full ownership of all files and data you upload to HizDrive. Hizcore does not claim any ownership rights to your content.

You are solely responsible for the content you store and share through HizDrive, and you must ensure you have the necessary rights to such content.

Prohibited Content

The following types of content are strictly prohibited on HizDrive:

  • Illegal content including pirated software, copyrighted material without permission
  • Child exploitation material or content that exploits minors
  • Extremist material, hate speech, or content promoting violence
  • Malware, viruses, or other harmful software
  • Content that infringes on intellectual property rights
  • Fraudulent or deceptive content

4. Hizcore's Security Commitment

Hizcore is committed to protecting your data using multiple layers of security:

  • Zero-Knowledge Encryption: Your files are encrypted on your device before transmission
  • Military-Grade Encryption: AES-256 encryption for data at rest and in transit
  • Secure Infrastructure: Protected data centers with physical and network security
  • Strict Access Controls: Limited employee access to user data

Private and shared content is handled with the utmost confidentiality. Due to our zero-knowledge architecture, we cannot access the contents of your encrypted files.

5. Termination of Use

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in illegal activities, or pose a security risk to our platform or other users.

You may terminate your account at any time through your account settings. Upon termination, your right to use HizDrive will immediately cease.

6. Modifications

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, legal requirements, or business practices. When we make material changes, we will:

  • Provide notice through our service or via email
  • Update the "Effective Date" at the top of these Terms
  • Where required by law, seek your consent for significant changes

Your continued use of HizDrive after changes to these Terms constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

7. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of HizDrive shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

Hizcore complies with valid legal requests from law enforcement and government agencies. We carefully review all requests to ensure they comply with applicable laws and protect user rights to the extent possible.

Valid court orders, subpoenas, or law enforcement demands may result in limited data disclosure. When legally permitted, we will notify users about government requests for their information.
